Trick or Treat!

Happy Halloween!!

We started our Halloween fun just after lunch by joining Griffin at his school for a Halloween celebration. Griffin and his classmates put on a parade, the teachers performed a spooooooky ghost show ( I put the oooooo in spooky for Griff, it's something he learned in school), and the kids sang a song about witches for us. We then headed indoors for creepy games, pumpkin bowling, and insane amounts of cookies, cupcakes, candy, & fruit punch.

We then came home, met up with our friends Maeve, Rowan, Peggy, and Moss for an early dinner and crazy sugar induced playtime. We then checked our costumes and hit the streets for the sweets. Griffin remembered all the houses we went to last year and was leading the way with Rowan, and Ruby was so excited about the candy in her bag, "ooooooooooh, I got one of these!"

Happy Halloween!!!

Boooooo!!!

How soon is too soon for carving pumpkins? If it were up to Griffin and Ruby, these babies would have been carved about three weeks ago. But the time has finally arrived, Jack-o-lantern time!

Ruby finds it easier to remove seeds and create without her shirt on.

Griffin was on task

Seeds!

Ruby preping her pumpkin for carving. Daddy took a bit of artistic license during the carving.

Beautiful Days

We have had some beautiful Autumn days in the last few weeks. The kids enjoyed a great day at the Paul Smith's Visitor Interpretive Center exploring the trails and boardwalks around the bog.
