Black Pond

Ruby, Griffin, and Daddy enjoyed an awesome day paddling on Black Pond. Griffin paddled his own kayak just over 2 miles. He even impressed his sister; she commented, "Nice paddling Griffin, you're doing a good job."

Small Mammal Trapping

Ruby and Griffin went along with Mama and the WCS field scientists to do a small mammal inventory of a soon-to-be developed piece of land. The crew captured, weighed, tagged, and released three chipmunks and one flying squirrel.

Paddling with the Kitties

We had a great day on the water with Grandma and Grandpa Kitty. We paddled from Stoney Creek Ponds down Stoney Creek and into the Raquette River. Everybody had a chance to paddle and we even found a beautiful beach to take a dip from.
