Spring time means science fair! Ruby's class did an Animal Habitat Study and each student created a diorama featuring rainforest creatures. Ruby studied the Ocelot, a small cat that lives from South Texas to South America, eats rabbits, mice and wood rats, and is nocturnal (All facts researched by Ruby herself).
Griffin did a study on how different spiders use their webs. The title of his display was Tangled. He drew pictures of 4 spiders that use their webs in unique ways, displayed a microscope slide of a spider web, illustrated and labeled the anatomy of a spider, and showed how to spin your own web using nails, a board, and string.
