Leprechaun Trap

Along with another St Patrick's Day, comes another Leprechaun trap. This years trap used a one way trap door, slippery surfaces, "invisible" ceiling, and a sticky mixture of green paint, glue, glitter, and molasses. We didn't end up catching the little red headed trickster, but we did find his boots in the sticky mix and his vest stuck to a piece of tape. Next year we'll get him!

A nice day for a bike ride

We've had a string of sunny warm days in the Adirondacks. Unfortunately, the snow is melting fast which means ski season is almost over. However, we're able to get on our bikes. Griffin had no problem handling his mountain bike ~ only one minor wipeout. This was Ruby's first time riding at adult walking speed. She did very well! She is sad that she no longer fits on her Barbie bike and has to use Griffin's black bike. But she looks cute in her new helmet and its all about looking cute - isn't it??

Dewey Mtn Day 2010

This past Saturday Dewey Mountain held it's annual Dewey Mountain Day, a day of fun and games on ski for kids. This year we were so excited to be able to have Billy Demong, Olympic Nordic Combined gold and silver medalist from Saranac Lake, & Haley Johnson, Olympic Biathlete from Lake Placid, join us at Dewey for our celebration. What can I say besides it was an incredible day and a great experience for our kids.

SL Winter Carnival

We had a great SL Winter Carnival, complete with a visit from the Prince family (no bunnies). So what did we do?..
