First Snow

We had our first snow on October 14. The kids wasted no time getting on there winter gear. There was a lot of snow eating and snowball throwing.
 

Pumpkin Time!

Griffin and Ruby have pumpkin fever. We have been talking Haloween and costumes for a couple weeks. These are some photos of the enjoying Fall Harvest Fest and Rulf's Family Farm. And yes, Ruby still hasn't mastered the smile.


 

Hanging at the ocean

Our short trip to Maine was wonderful. We visited a lobster shack for some yummy seafood (and ice cream), spent the day at the ocean, and got to spend time baby Evelyn, Grandma and Grandpa Smith, Hallie and Jay, and Jeanne and Don Prince and Ruby dog. We of course visited a few forts which Griffin and Ruby loved exploring. Can't wait to go back with the surf board.


 

The Roof!

We are on our way to a new roof. The guys have spent more days than expected up there tearing off 5 layers of shingles, repairing the chimneys, and fixing the huge holes (one was so big that Todd climbed out of it). One special treat was a full rainbow after a short rain shower.

Happy Birthday Griffin!

Going to the fish hatchery, catching frogs, eating rasberries and cake. Now that's a birthday party!

 

Kayaking Firsts!

Griffin was the captain of his own ship for this kayaking expedition. It was the first time he paddled his own kayak while Ruby and I paddle beside him. He did awesome!

It was also Ruby's first time riding in a kayak. She has been in the canoe many times but never in a kayak. She loved being so close to the water and being able to paddle with her hands.

Fun in Pennsylvania!

Drums, bugs, pool, baby Evvie, Grandma, Grandpa, and ice cream! What could be better.
