Field Days Fun!
Both Ruby and Griffin participated in field days last week. Some of their favorite events; Ice Cube Relay, Tug o' War, Garage Sale Relay, and Potato Sack Races. Mommy and Daddy had fun too.

River Clean-up 2010

How to train your dragon fly
Last week Griffin participated in a school science fair. He created a display informing people how to catch and care for a dragon fly larvae. His display showed the life cycle of a dragon fly, where to go to find larvae, and what you need to do to keep and feed them and watch them grow into a dragon fly. He titled his display, "How to train your dragon fly". The judges (scientists for Trudeau Laboratories) asked him questions like, "what did you learn during your work?", "How did you come up with the title?" and "What stage of dragon fly do you have displayed here?". He did a GREAT job and was awarded first place in grades 1 thru 3 in the Display and Collection category. Congratulations Griffin, We are proud of you!!

Griffin for good manners
Griffin received a Certificate of Accomplishment from his teachers Mrs Dalton & Mrs Arnold. It read as follows...
Griffin has become a wonderful role model for his classmates. He is always on task, well-mannered, and helpful. He is enthusiastic and eager to learn. It has been a pleaser working with him this year. Keep up the good work Griffin.
