Griffin placed 1st in the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival X-C Ski Race in the 6 and under class. He is very proud of his win.

Saranac Lake Winter Carnival 2008 officially began Friday Night and the lighting of the Ice Palace was followed by fireworks on Saturday. Apart from being the largest in years, it had two mazes, a pyramid, and tunnel under the tallest wall.

Ice castle construction is under way and the kids were very excited to see it. The word is it will be the biggest in years, and so far it's looking pretty grand.
