Thanksgiving time.

Kindergarten class held Thanksgiving Lunch in Lake Placid.
Complete with pilgrim hats, cranberry "jello" and ice cream sundaes.

Ruby's first take home project was to decorate her turkey. She and Griffin chose to use some of their many, many pieces of Halloween candy and alphabet pasta to create a master piece.

Thanksgiving Dinner and Grandma Sheila's Birthday Party! Griffin wrote the cutest story for Grandma. It said...in not so many words...Dear Grandma, Please don't eat me. I'm a skinny turkey, as skinny as a sting bean and I taste like mold. You should eat spaghetti and meatballs instead. Please don't shoot me with a gun. Sincerely, Griffin Turkey IV. ....funny guy.

Beautiful cake...all the way from Brooklyn.
We spent Black Friday at the Buffalo Botanical Gardens. It was warm and humid inside and cold and windy outside. There were lots of beautiful plants and neat architecture. The kids took part in a scavenger hunt and enjoyed finding the many hidden treasures. Maybe you can't tell, but Griffin had about 103 degree fever this day. He was a good sport though.

While Griffin was sick (aka watching movies and getting lots of attention at Grandma's house) Ruby went to an art gallery event in the city with Grandma and Grandpa Kitty, and the rest of the Sipos family. She enjoyed trying to read the labels on the various art exhibits and loved eating the finger foods and hanging with her city cousins (Eli and Bekah). She even got a trendy new bracelet at the art gallery store where Bekah works.
